Throughout your stay, listen for the call of native Barred owls who consider this property home. Pack your water bottle and hiking shoes to enjoy a variety of easy to moderate trails located 10 minutes away at Nathan Bedford State Park. Enjoy kayaking and/or fishing in the 40,000sf pond located on the property or on nearby Kentucky Lake. SUP rentals are available on Eva beach just 7 minutes from camp. Watch the sunset give way to a bright sky full of stars as your party settles in around the cozy camp fire.
Luxury Camping is Glamping
Believe it or not, there is a dwindling population that doesn't recognize at least one of the phrases. With 25 years of experience in back country hiking and camping, the Owl's Nest has you covered with every camping essential you'll need to survive a night outdoors, and then some.
The Owl's Nest is a 320sf waterproof and fire-resistant duck canvas bell tent, anchored 3ft off the ground overlooking two large fields, a creek, and a pond levee.
RV rentals are also available for guests who prefer this style of camping. Check out the Properties tab for a list of our current inventory.
Fun Fact: The business name came first, and then owls began making nightly occurrences surrounding the property. Call it what you will, but I find some pretty neat symbolism here.
